Our Classrooms
All our classes are led by highly qualified staff members who hold either a QQI Level 5, Level 6, Level 7, or Montessori certificate. We prioritize the expertise and professionalism of our team, ensuring that your child receives the best care and educational support.
In addition, our additional staff members undergo a thorough vetting process to ensure the utmost safety and security for your child. We carefully select individuals who demonstrate a genuine passion for childcare and a strong commitment to child development.

Pre Montessori/Montessori
At Butterflies Crèche, we employ the Montessori system of education for young children, which is designed to foster the natural interests and activities of each child. In addition, we embrace an emergent curriculum approach, allowing for flexibility and adaptability in our daily routines. This approach encourages both child and adult-initiated activities, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching educational experience. Rest assured, our programs are covered by ECCE, providing your child with a nurturing and stimulating environment to grow and thrive.
ECCE
The ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) programme offers a valuable opportunity for all children within the eligible age range to embark on their first formal experience of early learning before starting primary school. This comprehensive programme provides three hours of engaging educational activities per day, five days a week, for a duration of 38 weeks per year. The ECCE programme year begins in September and concludes in June. At Butterflies Crèche, we are proud to participate in the ECCE programme, ensuring that your child receives a solid foundation for their educational journey in a nurturing and supportive environment.

After School Club
At Butterflies Crèche, we offer convenient drop-off and pick-up services for children attending Lusk National School and Educate Together. Our dedicated staff ensures a safe and reliable transportation experience, providing peace of mind for parents. Additionally, we provide supervised homework sessions, allowing school-age children to complete their assignments in a structured and supportive environment.
To cater to their nutritional needs, we also include meals in our services. Our school-age children receive a wholesome dinner and tea, ensuring they are fueled and ready for their after-school activities. At Butterflies Crèche, we prioritize the well-being and holistic development of every child in our care.
